What Parents are Saying

Courtney (Upper Merion Mom)

"My 11 year old son was brand new to the game, and Ben and his coaches helped transform him from a kid who was afraid to get the ball or take a shot, into a confident player who understood the game. Whenever he struggled with a concept, the coaches knew just how to help him, both physically and mentally. Recently, my son ended up the highest scorer on his team for the season, but more importantly, he loves the game and has a higher level of confidence on and off the court, due in large part to Philadelphia Basketball School."

Robyn (Philadelphia Mom)

"My son Rich had a blast with Philadelphia Basketball School's weekly clinic! He learned new skills and gained confidence in himself. The coaches are talented, not just with basketball but with engaging the players and keeping them motivated. Coach Jake and Coach Tommy taught and modeled good sportsmanship. They set high expectations for the players and were encouraging and kind. Rich has said he's excited for the next season with his team to show what he's learned at clinic."

Dan (Upper Merion Dad)

"Ben, after 3 consecutive days of tryouts and more than 25 kids cut, Landon made the Radnor Middle School Basketball team tonight! Thanks so much for all your help. He's super excited, as am I!"

Sarah (Media Mom)

"My son participated in the basketball clinic run by Ben and Bruce at the Rocky Run YMCA. It was fantastic! The coaches really taught the kids new skills, and team play and tactics. They were fun and kind, but also strict and it helped the kids stay focused. It was amazing to see the improvements over the course of the clinic and I wish we could have them teach a clinic there year round! Highly recommend the investment of time and cost into any clinic this team has to offer."

Alina (Phoenixville Mom)

" My 2 kids attended a basketball clinic at YMCA Phoenixville, PA 1st time in October 2023, and since then I've been waiting for the clinic to start again at the convenient time for us. Finally, the clinic has returned to the location and we signed up for the 2nd time. Both of my 8-year-olds at the time enjoyed the drill. Coaches were incredibly knowledgeable and treated all of the kids as they would prepare them for a very serious game. They not only taught fundamental basketball skills, but also emphasized teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun!! The clinic was well-organized, with clear communication from start to finish. My kids were looking forward to attending each session. The drills were age appropriate, challenging, and engaging, which kept all the participants motivated and eager to improve. My kids developed confidence on the court. I highly recommend this basketball clinic to any parent looking for a supportive, fun, and effective way to help their kids develop basketball skills and enjoy sport!"
